延岡学園高は１８日、バスケットボール男子の全九州高校大会の男子準決勝で留学生選手（１５）が審判員を殴打した問題で会見を開き、当該選手や関係者を処分する方向であることを明かした。佐藤則夫校長は「絶対にあってはならないこと。審判の方、関係者ら多くの方にご迷惑とご心労を掛けたことをおわび申し上げる」と謝罪した。
