プロ野球・巨人は７日、同僚のバットやグラブなど野球用具約１１０点を盗んで売却していたとして、柿沢貴裕外野手（２３）との契約を解除した。柿沢選手は球団の調査に行為を認めており、「消費者金融に借金するなど、生活費に困窮していた」と説明しているという。
