青森市の夏を彩る風物詩「青森ねぶた祭」（８月２～７日）の開催が迫る中、１２７年前のねぶたを写した一枚の写真が見つかった。１８９１（明治２４）年に撮影されたとみられ、これまで確認されているものの中では最古とみられるという。当時の“ハレの日”の一端がうかがえる貴重な資料となっている。
