NTTドコモは、“2年縛り”などと呼ばれる2年契約の解約時の諸問題について、総務省で議論され行政指導がなされたことを受け、「更新月」を24カ月目からの3カ月間に拡大する方針を明らかにした。時期は未定ながら、2018年度内に実施する予定。8月2日に開催されたNTTドコモの2018年度第1四半期の決算会見で、代表取締役社長の吉澤和弘氏が明らかにした。
