日本ボクシング連盟の山根明会長（７８）が半世紀以上にわたり、山口組系暴力団組長だった大阪市の男性（８１）と交友関係があったことが明らかになった。男性が毎日新聞に証言した。山根氏が１９９１年に連盟理事に就任して以降の時期も含まれている。男性は２００７年に組長を引退。数年前からは関係も絶たれたとされる
