菅義偉官房長官は６日の記者会見で、２０２０年東京五輪・パラリンピックの暑さ対策のため、国全体で時計の針を１～２時間進めるサマータイム（夏時間）制度を導入する案に重ねて否定的見解を示した。「国民の日常生活に影響が生じ、大会までの期間が２年と限られている」と述べた。
