神奈川県鎌倉市の由比ガ浜海水浴場近くの海岸で５日、漂着しているのが見つかったクジラの死骸はシロナガスクジラとみられることが６日、国立科学博物館の調査で分かった。同館によると、シロナガスクジラが国内の海岸に打ち上げられたのは全国初で、生態を知る貴重な資料になるとしている。
