沖縄県の謝花喜一郎副知事は８日、沖縄県庁で会見し、膵臓（すいぞう）がんの治療中だった翁長雄志知事が入院先で意識混濁の状態となったことを受け、自らが８～１２日に職務代理者を務めると発表した。知事が近く辞職するとの一部報道は否定した。
