8月12日～8月16日にカナダのバンクーバー市で開催中のグラフィックス関連の展示会「SIGGRAPH 2018」の基調講演で、NVIDIA CEOのジェンスン・フアン氏が登壇し、近く「NVIDIA Turing GPU Architecture」と呼ばれる新しいGPUアーキテクチャを採用した製品を順次投入していくと発表した。
