大塚勇三さん９７歳（おおつか・ゆうぞう＝児童文学者）１８日、肺炎のため死去。葬儀は近親者で営んだ。 モンゴル民話を再話した「スーホの白い馬」が代表作。「長くつ下のピッピ」「やかまし村の子どもたち」をはじめ、海外児童文学の翻訳も多数手掛けた。
