「内藤とうがらし」という、とうがらしと出合いました 内藤とうがらしとは、江戸時代に宿場町だった内藤新宿（現在の新宿区内藤町）で栽培され始め、近郊の農地でも盛んに栽培されていたというとうがらしです。 当時、江戸ではそばがはやっていたため、その薬味として評判になりました。やがて新宿から農地がなくなり、内藤とうがらしの栽培もなくなったのですが、2010年に有志により復活。2013年には「
