Netflixは、8月23日午前2時、日本でのサービス利用料を値上げする、と発表した。同社はアメリカなど他国で利用料金を値上げしているが、日本での値上げは、2015年秋の市場参入以来初めて。新料金はベーシックが800円、スタンダードが1,200円、プレミアムが1,800円。150円～350円の値上げとなる。
