総務省は２８日、スマートフォンを契約した携帯電話会社以外で使えないようにする「ＳＩＭロック」について、中古端末でも解除に応じるよう携帯電話会社に義務付けることを決めた。関係ガイドラインを改正し、来年９月１日から実施する。ＳＩＭロックを解除することで中古端末の流通に弾みをつけ、安くスマホを利用できる環境を整える。
