元那覇市議で、琉球料理研究家の渡口初美氏（８３）が２８日、県庁で記者会見し、翁長雄志前知事の死去に伴う９月３０日投開票の知事選に出馬すると表明した。 渡口氏は「ベーシックインカムの立ち上げに頑張ってちょうだいと言われ、立候補することになった。一部を聞いて素晴らしいと思った。
