本屋が減っている。この事実はたぶん、ほとんどの人が知っているだろう。 日本著者販促センターの統計によると、2000年に2万軒以上あった書店が、2017年5月には1万2000軒にまで減っているそうだ。東京オリンピックが開かれる2020年には、2000年に比べて半数程度の書店数になっているかもしれない。
