世界遺産・醍醐寺（京都市伏見区）で、水晶で覆われた珍しい阿弥陀如来（あみだにょらい）の小像（高さ５．５３センチ）が初公開される。寺は、像の特徴から鎌倉期の仏師・快慶か、弟子など近い人物が造ったとみている。来月１５日からの秋期特別展で展示する。
