日本相撲協会が２５日、貴乃花親方（元横綱）が退職を表明し会見を開いたことについて、芝田山親方（元横綱大乃国）が貴乃花親方の提出した「引退届」や、所属力士の千賀ノ浦部屋への所属変更願いを受理していないと発表した。書類に不備があるためとしている。
