茂木敏充経済財政・経済再生担当相は１４日、ＮＨＫのテレビ番組の中で、２０１９年１０月の消費税率１０％への引き上げは、予定通りに実施するとの見解をあらためて示した。そのうえで税率変更前後の需要変動に注意が必要とし、機動的な政策対応をするため２０１９年度、２０年度の本予算で措置を講じると述べた。
