フィギュアスケート西日本選手権最終日が４日に名古屋市・日本ガイシアリーナで行われ、男子フリーで復帰２戦目の高橋大輔（３２＝関大ＫＦＳＣ）がフリー１６１・１１点、合計２４４・６７点で優勝し、５年ぶりの全日本選手権（１２月、大阪）出場を決めた。
