スパゲッティを野菜やハムなどと共にケチャップで炒めて作る洋食、ナポリタン。第二次世界大戦後に日本で創作された日本風パスタ料理で、諸説あるものの、横浜の「ホテルニューグランド」が発祥と言われています。ナポリにも「スパゲッティ・アッラ・ナポリターナ」がありますが、主な食材はトマト、ニンニク、バジルなどといったシンプルなもので、ケチャップで炒めるスパゲッティは存在していません
