クルマの屋根を支える柱（ピラー）は安全性のために重要だが、視界を妨げてもいる。そこで自動車部品サプライヤーのコンチネンタルは、支柱を有機ELディスプレーで包んで向こう側の様子を表示し、ピラーを「透明」にして死角をなくす技術を開発している。類
