　国内高炉最大手の新日本製鉄は、日本が過去に受け入れてきた鉱石船としては最大船型となる４０万ｔ級大型船（通称ＶＡＬＥ　ＭＡＸ）を、大分製鉄所で試験的に受け入れたと６月１８日に発表。国内製鉄所で最深の港湾を誇る大分のインフラ能力を確認した。　今回試験的に受け入れた大型鉱石船は、世界最大の鉄鉱石サプライヤーであるブラジルのヴァーレ（ＶＡＬＥ）社が運航する４０万ｔ級大型船、「ＶＡＬＥ　ＭＡＸ」。正式な船...
